Darknight Absolute amazing noise rock heaviness. Head Trap feels just like what the title suggests, this music has your head trapped in an audio vice and your being zapped in the ears. So glad I purchased this album in its physical form cos this band are freaking wicked. Favorite track: Leptirica.

Gary Davidson Looking forward to hearing the whole album but these two tracks are thunderous noise rock and it was a safe buy since its on Trepanation. Favorite track: Metro Goat.

about

'Head Trap' is the sound of three guys who collectively agree on very little. What is a good snare sound? Does being a little bit out of tune really matter? How much bass is too much bass?

None of these questions are answered on the album. What is captured in the space of eight songs is an energy matched only by 3 year olds on an E110 bender, a song craft which manages to mix discordance and melody in ways not yet understood by western science, and a lyrical attack that will make you wonder just what you did to piss this guy off.
